Centred around the historic and vibrant market town of Bogense, this idyllic region of northern Fyn offers a wide range of sights, attractions and activities. The beaches here are well suited both for a dip in the sea and fishing, while the coastal region that stretches west from Bogense is well suited to long walks along the beach. Further inland, the city of Odense is home to one of Denmarks best zoos as well as a railway museum and a museum devoted to the citys most famous son, Hans Christian Andersen. A trip to Odense can be rounded off with lunch in one of the restaurants in the charming streets surrounding Brandts Klaedefabrik, and old textile mill transformed into a modern shopping, entertainment and cultural centre.
